APA 7th Citation Guide

General Guidelines

• Ensure your punctuation is correct

  • Blog post title: Write the post title in sentence case.  
  • Blog title: In italics and in title case, e.g., APA Style Blog. 

• Ensure your formatting is correct
  • ​Follow our red format structure and view our examples in black. E.g., Look at the elements of the reference we have italicized. You also italicize that same element in your reference.

• Insert the stable URL to the article - not to the database link - after the blog post title: Get tips for finding the URL from the eMagazine article page. 

Format

Group Author. (Year, Month Day of publication). Title of blog post article sentence case. Title of blog in Headline Case, unless it is the same as the author. http://xxxxx

Virgin Atlantic. (2019, October 20). Virgin Atlantic set to soar in South America for the first time. Ruby: A Blog by Virgin Atlantic. https://blog.virginatlantic.com/virgin-atlantic-set-to-soar-in-south-america-for-the-first-time/
