Set EndNote in Google Scholar settings

  1. In Google Scholar go to Settings.

  2. Choose Show links to import citations into EndNote in Bibliography manager.

  3. Select Save.

Searching and importing results using Google Scholar

  1. Enter your search term in Google Scholar.

  2. In the Results list, right click on Import into EndNote.

  3. Choose Save link as in the drop down menu.

  4. In the Save as pop up box, select your Desktop.

  5. Give the new file a name.

  6. Select Save.

Use your EndNote Online account to collect your results

  1. Select the Collect tab.

  2. Select Import References option.

  3. Click Choose File.
  4. Select the file you have saved on the desktop from the previous step.

  5. Click Open.

  6. In Import Option choose EndNote Import.

  7. In To: box choose [Unfiled].

  8. Click Import.

Using EndNote Online and 'My References'

  1. A message will appear for any new uploaded citations.

  2. Select the My References tab.

  3. In the [Unfiled] folder you can see the number of files you have uploaded.

  4. The uploaded citation will be listed.
