How to edit references in 'full editing function' mode in pictures

 

Quick Steps: Highlight reference. Right-click. > Edit Reference > Edit where needed > File > Close Reference > Yes to Save.

Step-by-Step:

  1. Highlight the reference you want to edit, and go into editing mode by selecting References > Edit Reference from the menu bar

     

  2. Select the field that requires editing. Make the necessary changes.

     

  3. Save your changes by selecting File > Close Reference > Yes to save your changes. Alternatively, Ctrl + S on your keyboard.
    Tip! In Full Editing mode, you can change the case. Highlight what you would like to change the case of, and select the Aa drop-down menu. Select the type of case you wish to display, eg. Capitalize Each Word. It should change the case. Ctrl + S to Save.
  1. Highlight the reference you wish to edit. Go to References > Edit References. Alternatively, Ctrl+E on your keyboard.

  1. Make your edits in the appropriate fields. Ctrl+S to Save.

Tip! In Full Editing mode, you can change the case. Highlight what you would like to change the case of, and select the Aa drop-down menu. Select the type of case you wish to display, eg. Capitalize Each Word. It should change the case. Ctrl + S to Save.

Q. I often have to manually change the case to match my citation style. Is there a shortcut?

A. Yes!

Highlight the text >  Aa icon  > Select required case.
