First hosted by Georgia Tech in collaboration with this funded project

2012 - moved host to BioMed Central Open Repository

2014 - Augusta University Faculty Senate passed an open access resolution in Support of Open Access Dissemination of Research in which faculty are encouraged to share their scholarly outputs via Scholarly Commons
