This guide offers information regarding the Augusta University institutional repository, Scholarly Commons.

Scholarly Commons is organized in a hierarchical structure composted of Communities and Collections

  •  Communities are the highest level and represent colleges and schools, centers and institutes, and administrative unites 
    • ​Departments are represented as Sub-Communities within Communities
  • Communities contain Collections
    • Collections are the repository contents (i. e. digital work); each community and collection has its own entry page displaying information, news, and links reflecting the interests of that community or collection
      • Some Collections contain Sub-Collections (i.e. a collection within a collection)​​​​​​​
