The citation for AMA will depend on whether the paper has been accepted for publication or not.
1. If an article has been accepted for publication, but is not yet published:
First list the author name(s), do not include a date. The title of the article is not italicized; the journal title is italicized. Finally add a note: "In press." After this include the repository information.

2. An article that has (maybe) been submitted for publication, but has not been accepted:
For these types of materials you should not list it in your references. Instead include as an in-text citation, noting the material is unpublished as well as the author(s) and date.
These finding have recently been corroborated (J. Smith, MD, unpublished, February 2012).
Theses and Dissertations
In the American Medical Association style, include the author’s name, the title (italicized) followed by [dissertation], the city, state, and university where degree awarded and the year, handle and date accessed.

Works Previously Published
A complete print journal reference for AMA includes:
Author's surnames and initials, Title of article, abbreviated name of journal, year, volume number (issue number), and inclusive page number.
Because are accessing it via a web resoource also include the handle, date published (if available), and date accessed.

This citation may be used to reference any form of presentation from a conference or lecture. To cite these please include the author(s) of the presentation, the title of the poster, [In:] the name of the conference or lecture where the presentation was displayed (italicized), the dates of the conference (italicized), and the date of the conference the city and state where the conference was held. Include the handle and date accessed at the end.
