Finding eBooks at Reese Library

There are different ways to look for ebooks at Reese Library. You can:

Search the GIL-Find Catalog - The GIL-Find catalog has all of the ebooks, books, and other physical resources we subscribe to or own. To find ebooks, search for your topic and then use the "Full Access Online" limiter on the side to retrieve electronic content, including ebooks. To the right is a widget so you can search the catalog from this page.
Search in an individual ebook database: Bypass the catalog and search within an individual ebook database instead. To the bottom right is a box of the ebook databases we subscribe to, organized into different categories.

Find print and ebooks, other types of sources including DVDs, online videos, eJournals, print journals, and more found in the libraries (not journal articles)

Tip! When it launches into the full GIL-Find catalog, use the "Full Access Online" limiter on the side to retrieve materials available electronically.

Ebooks on EBSCOhost provides you with frontlist titles from the world's leading publishers to complement any library collection need. Users can access the full text of eBooks from their computer, or can download titles to most popular portable devices.
eBook Community College Collection
Focused on the academic and trade information needs of community colleges, this multidisciplinary collection contains more than 52,000 ebook titles, with content spanning a range of topics, programs, and fields of study and varying from introductory/basic content to higher-level content, all with a user-friendly search experience and simple download process. Many of these ebooks would be suitable for the first two years of undergraduate study.
eBooks on EBSCOhost
eBooks at EBSCOhost, formerly known as NetLibrary, provides access to ebooks, including reference books, scholarly monographs, publications of many university presses, and consumer books that have been converted into digital format. It is possible to perform full-text searches of a single ebook, search thousands of volumes simultaneously, browse topic categories, or read ebooks directly online.
Proquest eBook Central
Electronic books collection; titles can be downloaded with a Proquest Central account.
SpringerLink
SpringerLink provides full-text of journals and ebooks in all disciplines offered by Springer.

Georgia Historic Books
The Georgia Historic Books database contains full-text, fully searchable books related to Georgia's history and culture. Most are from the 19th to early 20th century and focus on Georgia history, biography, and literature.
Georgia History Ebooks University of Georgia Press
Georgia History Ebooks from the University of Georgia Press includes early and seminal works on Georgia's history and culture, many published in the 1950s and 1960s that have long been out of print. Users also have the option of ordering print copies of these titles from the University of Georgia Press.
HathiTrust Digital Library
HathiTrust is a digital repository of scanned books, journals, and other library materials. All users may access the bibliographic information for materials in the database. Also, full text is viewable for "Full View" (public domain and open access) materials. Those with a Jag ID and password can download the full text of the Full View materials. HathiTrust is a partnership of major research institutions and libraries working to ensure that the cultural record is preserved and accessible long into the future.
O'Reilly Safari Books Online
O'Reilly Safari Books Online provides access to more than 36,000 digital books and videos on topics ranging from programming to IT networking to project management to graphic design to business strategy. The content includes code snippets, certification preparation materials, practice exercises, training videos, and much more. Users can search thousands of books simultaneously online, saving time and quickly finding the information they need.
Sage Reference Handbooks Online

Handbooks on Social Sciences topics including business & management, education, geography, politics & international relations, psychology, research methods & evaluation, social work & social policy, and sociology.

eBook High School Collection
The eBook High School Collection features over 3,300 quality titles supporting students and faculty in the education discipline. Titles range from introductory texts for undergraduate coursework to more complex and detailed works for advanced students and scholars. Also included are support materials for teachers and professionals working in K-12 and higher education classrooms, covering topics from curriculum building to student behavior and dynamics.

The eBook Public Library Collection is a collection of nearly 41,000 titles chosen specifically for public libraries, this general reference collection features fiction titles for both adults and juveniles, as well as best-selling and highly-recommended titles from industry leading publishers.
