How to Use UpToDate with a Mobile Device

  1. Click on the UpToDate link within the Greenblatt Library's home page, Databases A-Z, or University Libraries databases page.
  2. The familiar authentication login verifying your affiliation with Augusta University on the Health Sciences campus will pop-up followed by Augusta University's Duo authentication.
  3. Once authenticated, you will see a first-time UpToDate Registration request. Create your own user name/password for UpToDate's "My Account" and use your Augusta University email address. 
  4. Upon completion of the registration process, you will receive a confirmation email from UpToDate with instructions on downloading the Mobile App.  (You will be prompted every 90 days to verify affiliation with Augusta University). Go to UpToDate via Greenblatt Library's home page and log in with your UpToDate credentials. 

Mobile Access

Once registered (see Off-Campus Access to UpToDate), you can install the Mobile App on up to two devices.  

1. On your smartphone or tablet, search for "UpToDate" in your app store and install the free app.

2. Open the UpToDate Mobile App upon complete of download.

3. Log in with your registered UpToDate user name and password.  You only need to do this once--the app remembers your user name and password.

CME Credit Mobile App

Redeem CME/CE/CPD credits earned through UpToDate using your mobile app.  A tutorial will guide you through the process. 

If you are ABIM-certified, you can also submit CME credits towards your MOC requirements through this mobile app.
