OLD_Allied Health Resources: Greenblatt Full-Text: when the citation is known

An online reference portal designed to provide information to faculty, researchers and students in the College of Allied Health Sciences.

Option 1: use GIL-Find search box for journals or books, in print or electronic formats.

Example: a search for the journal New England Journal of Medicine.

  1. Enter title of the journal in text box: new england journal of medicine, then click the search icon.
  2. At the result list, the first record lists holdings in electronic format (click Online access).

A second record lists holdings in print format (click Available at Greenblatt Library Greenblatt Journals, 2nd Floor).

For the eJournal record listed first: clicking Online access will open hyperlinks in GIL-Find to sources for the electronic document (see below). When the circled source is selected, the New England Journal of Medicine website will open. Drill down to volume and issue needed.

For the print journal record listed second in search results: selecting the Greenblatt Library Greenblatt Journals link in search results page will display the print holdings of the journal in GIL-Find (see below). The listed volumes are stored in the Greenblatt Library.

Option 2: use GIL-Find link FIND E-JOURNALS to search only electronic journals.

  1. b. At GIL-Find menu bar, click FIND E-JOURNALS.
  2. b. At Journal Search box, enter: jama, then press Enter or click the search icon.

3. b. In GIL-Find search results, select the JAMA record and click Online access.

4. b. Clicking the link at Full text available at will open the JAMA website; at the JAMA website, click Issues and drill down to volume and issue needed.
