Description: This is the old Augusta Cotton Exchange building at the corner of Reynolds Street and 8th street. Currently it is occupied by Georgia Bank And Trust. In the picture several well-dressed individuals are posing on the entrance steps to the building. Two Horse-drawn cotton carts are visible in the right hand side of the picture. The date is some time after the early electric power experiments as a power pole is visible in the upper left hand side of the image. Also the styles are turn of the 20th century and there is no sign of automotive traffic.
