Access Off Campus

  1. Always begin at an AU Libraries homepage. If you link from our homepage, you are more likely to be prompted to login.
  2. You can access full-text documents from GIL-Find@Augusta University ("GIL-Find, Library Catalog") or library databases by clicking the Find It@Augusta link or the PDF link in the database record.
  3. Library-subscribed full-text content is restricted to Augusta University students, faculty, and staff.

  4. Access to Library-subscribed documents and databases off campus requires Open Athens authentication. Selecting a database from a library web page will lead you to sign in using your Net ID and password.

  5. If prompted, find your institution at the Open Athens login (type Augusta University and click the AU link.

  6. Choose how to sign-in at Augusta University.

  8. When prompted, enter AU NetID (JagID) and DUO authentication. Information Technology staff assist students, faculty, and staff with Net ID and DUO issues.

  9. The library catalog may be referred to or labeled with synonymous terms "GIL-Find," "GIL-Find, Library Catalog," or "GIL-Find@Augusta University."

  10. Contact your liaison or embedded librarian when encountering any difficulty finding or retrieving needed full-text documents.
