This guide offers an overview of AU's research profiling system, Pure and how to manage profiles.

What is Pure Research Profiles?

Pure Research Profiles is Augusta University's researcher profile system.

  • AU faculty and researchers automatically have a profile*
  • Pure creates a research profile or "research fingerprint" that shows your published research topics by frequency of publication
  •  Research profile also shows your research network
  • And allows you to form collaborations 

Research Content and Impact Factors in Your Pure Profile

Pure automatically pulls research from Scopus and PubMed. You can also pull additional research to make a more comprehensive profile by integrating your ORCID iD with your Pure profile. 

 

Pure shows the number of research citations and your h-index, but only for the research in your Pure profile; in other words, if a citation is not in your Pure profile and it's been cited 100 times, that will not be reflected in these Pure statistics.
