Augusta University's ORCID U.S. Community Consortium membership is brought to you by University Libraries in partnership with the Office of the Senior VP for Research. This membership allows ORCID iDs to integrate and sync with Pure Research Profiles and with PACT.
PACT/Digital Measures (Watermark)
Access the Pure Research Profiles website and click on the Edit my Profile button*:
*It is located in the center of the Pure homepage.
You will then be prompted to login using your JagNet ID and Password.
Click on Edit Profile.
Click on Create or Connect ORCID iD.
Click proceed.
You will then be prompted to sign into your ORCID iD account (or create an ORCID iD if you don't already have one).
Click authorize.
Click save.
Access PACT/Digital Measures and login using your JagNet ID and Password.
Under the Scholarship/Research section, click on publications:
Click import.
Under import from a third party, choose ORCID in the drop-down menu. Then, click create or connect your ORCID iD.
Sign into ORCID. Then, click authorize.
ORCID is now integrated with PACT; however, you still need to pull publications from ORCID into PACT.
Click search ORCID.
Select your publications. Then, click continue. You can either choose publications individually or check all. PACT will recognize duplications.
If duplications are detected, review the imported record against the current PACT record. You can skip or import the ORCID record. NOTE: If you import the record, it will not take the place of the current record in PACT; you will need to manually delete it (step 9). Then, click continue.
If asked to match collaborates/users, match your name to a user account. NOTE: You do not have to match your co-authors to accounts in PACT. Once you match collaborators, click continue.
Review information record and click finish import.
To delete a record in PACT, check the publication and click the trash icon.
1. Sign into your eRA Commons Profile and under Profile, click the Create or Connect ORCiD:
2. You will be directed to ORCiD to sign into your ORCiD profile. Then, click Authorize:
1. Log into your MyNCBI and under the SciENcv, click on manage SciENcv.
2. Then under name, click Edit.
3. Then, on the Edit Personal Information page, you can link your ORCiD.
