Using Books (Textbooks, Fictional Books, Scholarly Books)

Providing copies of books that are not in the public domain is a copyright violation; however, a limited amount of pages, such as one chapter, can be copied and distributed to the class under Fair Use.

Providing copies of textbooks is a copyright violation; however, a limited amount of pages, such as one chapter, can be copied and placed into D2L under Fair Use.

eBooks which the University Libraries subscribe to can also be linked to in D2L. eBooks can be found through the library catalog.
