Micromedex

IBM Micromedex has five available apps for Apple, and Android devices as an Augusta University customer.  Instructions are listed below for each app.

Accessing Passwords for Micromedex Mobile Apps

As members of the Augusta University community, you will be able to access Micromedex online by first going to our Greenblatt Homepage, click on the "Database A-Z" page underneath "Research Tools & Collections," then selecting Micromedex. If you are off-campus, you will have to confirm your credentials and complete the Duo Authentication. For patrons that have downloaded one of the multiple Micromedex Mobile Applications, please note that the passwords for each application will change every year. When the password is near expiration, the application will remind you to enter a new one. Passwords can be found on this page. However, if it is not accurate, you can access the passwords by going to Micromedex online, select "Micromedex" in the top right, and finally select "Mobile Application Access" at the top right corner (as seen below).

IBM Micromedex Drug Ref

1. Download the IBM Micromedex Drug Ref app  from iTunes or Google Play.

2. From the App, select download/install the application.  You may be prompted to enter your Apple or GoogleID.

3. The app will download to your app library, or directly to your devise. 

4. Open the app. Enter the password cA2Pcm to begin using IBM Micromedex Drug Ref (the password is case-sensitive. Please enter it exactly as it appears here.)

IBM Micromedex Drug Interactions

1. Download the IBM Micromedex Drug Interactions app  from iTunes or Google Play.

2. From the App, select download/install the application.  You may be prompted to enter your Apple or GoogleID.

3. The app will download to your app library, or directly to your devise. 

4. Open the app. Enter the password gz2BrA to begin using IBM Micromedex Drug Interactions (the password is case-sensitive. Please enter it exactly as it appears here.)

IBM Micromedex IV Compatibility

With the IBM Micromedex IV Compatibility mobile app, clinicians can view Y-Site, Admixture, and Solutions results from the Trissel's 2 database.

1. Download the IBM Micromedex IV Comp. app from iTunes or Google Play.

2. From the App, select download/install the application.  You may be prompted to enter your Apple or Google ID.

3. The app will download to your app library, or directly to your device. 

4. Open the app.  Enter the password nkA5r8 to begin using IBM Micromedex IV Comp. (the password is case-sensitive. Please enter it exactly as it appears here.)

IBM Micromedex NeoFax

1. Download the IBM Micromedex NeoFax app from iTunes.

2. From the App, select download/install the application.  You may be prompted to enter your Apple or Google ID.

3. The app will download to your app library, or directly to your device. 

4. Open the app.  Enter the password fPmD9z to begin using IBM Micromedex NeoFax (the password is case-sensitive. Please enter it exactly as it appears here.)

IBM Micromedex Pediatrics

1. Download the IBM Micromedex Pediatrics app from iTunes.

2. From the App, select download/install the application.  You may be prompted to enter your Apple or Google ID.

3. The app will download to your app library, or directly to your device.
