Think of ORCiD as a social security number for researchers -- it's a 16-digit number unique to you and to you alone!

You can import records of your research by connecting with abstract and index databases. Currently, ORCID has sharing capabilities with the following:
1. To connect with another system, click on add works, then click search & link.

2. Then, select database/index from the dropdown list that appears.
3. After selecting a system, you will be prompted to grant permission to that system in order to link your research.

You will then be prompted to search, select, and import research available in your selected system.
To manually enter research, click on add works, then click add manually.

Add information as needed, then click add to list at the bottom of the page.
