Peer review ensures the validity and quality of scholarship (i.e., articles, scholarly books) for publication.
All submissions to The Arsenal undergo a double-blind review process, which means that the reviewers of the paper won't know the identity of the author(s) and the author(s) won't know the identity of the reviewers.
The review process is as follows:
Article submitted by author(s)
Editorial Review Board submits article to a faculty and student reviewer
Student and faculty review article and submit their reviews to the Editorial Review Board
Editorial Review Board returns feedback and decisions regarding publication to author(s)
If article needs revision, author(s) will revise and re-submit their article
Editorial Review Board reviews article and makes final decision regarding publication
a) If required, article will be sent to the faculty and student reviewer before final decision is made
