Using Reese Library as a Community User and/or Continuing Ed. Student

A Community User is someone who does not study, work, or is affiliated with Augusta University.

Community Users can:

  • Visit Reese Library during regular opening hours
  • Search our Libraries' databases while in Reese Library
  • Borrow books if you have a Community Borrowers Card

To visit Reese Library, if you are:

  • 18 + years: You can visit the library on your own.
  • 14 - 17 years: For the first time, you need to come with a parent or guardian, for the parent/guardian to sign a consent form and show ID to Information Desk staff.

To obtain a Community Borrowers Card for a fee, you need to:

  • Be 18 + years 
  • Have your parent or guardian sign up for one at the Information Desk.

You/they need to have their ID card showing proof of age and Georgia residence, eg. a Driver's License.
