Booz Allen Hamilton is a large defense contractor that specializes in intelligence and cryptologic support to the US government, but also support private sector customers.

Trend Micro is one of the big antivirus antimalware companies and are usually up to date on most threats to computer systems.

RAND Corporation is a large research company (aka a think-tank). They provide information research on a very wide range of topics including cybersecurity.

Applied Visions, Inc. created the Secure Decisions division to focus on research and product development areas related to national security including information assurance, computer network defense (including CND training), infrastructure protection, cyber security, and intelligence analysis. Secure Decisions provides decision-makers with tools to analyze massive amounts of data for more accurate and timely decisions; MeerCAT® and VIAssist™ visualization products are two such tools for analysis of cyber security data.

This is the company behind most of the web encryption schemes and many other areas. They build many of the tools to secure networks. Now a component of Dell as of September 2016
