Where do I search for what I need?

To search the articles, books, movies, and other materials in all the Reese Library databases and the Augusta University Libraries' catalog, use Discover Search.

To find books, use AU's library catalog,  GIL-Find.
Our catalog also provides access to books from the Ebooks on EBSCOhost database.

To find journal articles, use Discover Search or the individual databases in GALILEO. Searching individual databases can be useful if there is a particular subject database that you want to use or you want to search a smaller number of materials than all the databases and the catalog in Discover Search.

To find an article that you've already identified, use Reese Library's E-Journals list to see if the library has the article online or search the catalog to see if Reese Library owns the journal in print.

To find and/or request books that Reese Library doesn't own, use GIL Express.

To look for books and other materials -- but not journal articles -- use WorldCat.

To request articles that Reese Library doesn't have own, use ILLiad.

To request books that are not owned by Reese Library and are not available in GIL Express, use ILLiad.
