African Fossils provides unique access to fossils scanned using photometry and and SLR camera. All scans are from the National Museums of Kenya and the Turkana Basin Institute field stations.  All scans are available under the Creative Commons Attribution-Non Commercial-Share Alike License.

The Lawrence University chemistry department has developed Infectious Pathogens and Protein Domains collections of 3D printable objects. 

NIH 3D Print Exchange

The NIH 3D Print Exchange provides access to scientifically accurate or medically application models in format compatible with 3D printers. Additionally you can find several tools to create and share 3D-printable models related to biomedical science.

The Visible Human Project 

This is not a traditional database of scans, models, or tools. The sites included in this collection have developed projects based on the NIH Visible Human Data Set that can be use to develop or print models of your own. Some images may require you to complete an application.
