OpenAthens for Remote Access

If you have bookmarked links that go through the EZproxy system, you will need to update them to utilize OpenAthens. Additionally, links in D2L courses will need to be updated.

Use the OpenAthens link generator to update your links to library content. 

1.  Be sure to remove the EZproxy prefix from existing links such as the following:

2. Navigate to https://go.openathens.net/generate/augusta.edu/71455628

3. Paste in your link and press ENTER.
 

4. Copy and test your newly "Athenized" link. 

If you have an opportunity to test your link from an off-campus computer address, that wil ensure that remote users have access.
